Application of Blockchain technology in the development of agricultural supply chains in Can Tho City

In recent years, blockchain technology has garnered significant attention from businesses and researchers due to its prominence. Blockchain is being widely used in logistics activities such as traceability of goods, digitization, reducing intermediaries in the supply chain, enhancing data security for integrated information sharing, and smart contracts. This research was conducted to examine the application of blockchain technology in the development of agrifood supply chains in Can Tho City. The study employs a qualitative research method to gather data from various sources, including domestic and international books, journals, and reports from relevant governmental agencies. Based on the analysis results, the study proposed several solutions to promote the application of blockchain technology in the development of agricultural supply chains in Can Tho, such as enhancing the capacity of stakeholders in the supply chain, further disseminating the benefits of blockchain technology, building infrastructure, strengthening cooperation among stakeholders, or implementing additional financial support policies.

Promoting green logistics development in Can Tho city in the context of Industrial Revolution 4.0

Green logistics development is not only a global trend to address environmental issues alongside economic development goals but also aims for sustainable development and environmental protection. Therefore, Can Tho City, as the central hub of the Mekong Delta region, needs to take the lead in developing green logistics towards sustainable development goals. To address this issue, Can Tho City needs to implement the following comprehensive solutions: developing green infrastructure, greening transportation activities, applying Industry 4.0 technologies in logistics, greening warehousing activities, greening reverse logistics activities, and greening logistics activities within enterprises.

Warehouse execution system – WES is a software developed and built on the foundation of existing software (warehouse control system – WCS and warehouse management system – WMS) and the need to supply goods of warehouses according to customer requirements with a large number of orders but still ensuring tight delivery time. WES was born with a number of development factors such as automation and flexibility, optimizing resources, avoiding congestion. In the future, WES will be developed and supplemented with a number of features to solve more practical requirements of automated distribution centers.

Green Logistics and Green Supply Chain Management Research: A Bibliometric Analysis Based on Scopus Database

Green logistics and green supply chain management have garnered widespread attention from numerous researchers, with a steadily increasing number of publications. This study conducts a comprehensive bibliometric analysis using the VOSviewer tool on green logistics and green supply chain management research from 2003 to 2024, based on the Scopus database. By utilizing bibliometric analysis tools, the study evaluates trends, influential authors, organizations, and countries in this field. With 694 publications selected for analysis, the results reveal developments and research directions such as barriers and drivers; green human resource performance and management; the Dematel method and green supply chain practices; environmental management and green production; and the circular economy and green logistics.
