Abstract

Ivabradine has showed reduced hospital admission and mortality for refractory sustained sinus tachycardia and HFrEF (SHIFT trial) (4), however, the combination of Ivabradine and other medications used for HFrEF may have deleterious effects. We present a case of a patient with a normal QTc on maximal dose of Metoprolol who developed QTC prolongation and TdP short after initiation of Ivabradine for inappropriate sinusal tachycardia.
