Đánh giá điều kiện và tình hình phát triển loại hình du lịch homestay tại thành phố Cần Thơ

Abstract

Homestay is a form of tourism which is developing rapidly in the tourism agencies in Can Tho. Homestay growing trend increasingly has more attention of all ages, because this is a kind of responsible tourism and supports to preserve the natural environments, indigenous cultural values, to develop the community, and to bring economic benefits in order to make a positive contribution to the tourism development in particular and socio-economic development in general. However, at present, homestay tourism in Can Tho has not fully developed its potential.

With the expectation that homestay tourism in Can Tho City is growing more and more as its potential, in this paper, we initially assessed the conditions for Can Tho City to develop homestay tourism. Subsequently, we stated the strengths and weaknesses of homestay development in Can Tho City, which can be used as the basis for the tourism leaders of Can Tho City to make solutions to greatly develop this form of tourism in the near future.
