Abstract

Paracetamol is a drug commonly used in treatment of pain relief, antipyretic and is widely used today. Paracetamol can be used alone or in combination with other drugs in different dosage forms. There have been many studies related to the determination of paracetamol in tablets to ensure drug content. This article summarizes some of the methods of quantifying paracetamol in tablets prescribed in Vietnamese pharmacopoeia and pharmacopoeia of some countries in the world.
