Abstract

The area of paddy land is shrinking, mainly due to excessive conversion to nonagricultural land. Clause 1, Article 58 of the 2013 amended and supplemented Land Law 2018 has tightened the allocation and lease of land for projects using rice land. The article summarizes the conditions when the State alloccates or leases land for projects using rice land. At the sam time, orientate and propose solutions to improve the law on land allocation and lease conditions for projects using rice land, contributing to more efficient and economical land use.
