Factors affecting work motivation were evaluated at Oil and Gas Group - Hau Giang Branch based on the theory of work motivation and the theory of demand. Five priori factors were hypothezied to have impact on motivation e.i. (1) Income, (2) Work characteristics, (3) Trainning and promotion, (4) Organizational relationship, (5) Reputation of Institution. Quantitative research was conducted with a sample of 120 office workers at the company. Results of Cronbach's Alpha and factor analysis shows the scale used in the study was consistent. The three factors significantly affecting motivation for office workers are Trainning and promotion, Organizational relationship, and Work characteristics. From the research results, some managerial implications were proposed.
