The main research objective was to identify and assess the factors influencing the motivation of employees in VTV Can Tho, thus showing management implications. From theoretical and national and international studies on motivation, the research used qualitative and quantitative methods to propose 7 factors affecting the motivation of employees in VTV Can Tho: job characteristics; work environment; welfare bonus; promotion opportunities; training and developing; superior relationship; recognition.
Regression analysis of data from a sample of 315 emlpoyees showed that job characteristics, work environment, welfare bonus, promotion opportunities, training and developing, and superior relationship having impacts on work motivation. From the results obtained, the research provides management implications to reduce the motivation of VTV employees.
