The research objective is to preserve and promote the cultural value of Cai Rang floating market in tourism activities in Can Tho city. The thesis analyzed the status of exploiting cultural values of Cai Rang floating market; along with the results of data analysis surveying 120 tourists. On that basis, the study proposed solutions to preserve and promote cultural values of Cai Rang floating market in terms of: products; propaganda and promotion; capital; co-operate; human resources and environment. At the same time, giving some recommendations to the Cai Rang District People's Committee; Can Tho City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; local community; tourism businesses, tour operators and tourists to preserve and promote the cultural value of Cai Rang floating market in Can Tho city tourism activities.
